The Eskimo, an 84’ Trumpy Motor Yacht, was originally built for John Kimberly of Kimberly-Clarke in 1961. The current name is Sea Hammock. Approximately 8 years ago this motor yacht went aground and punctured the hull on the ICW in North Carolina. There was an immediate rescue to patch the hole in the hull and tow the vessel to Moores Marine Yacht Center, a premier Trumpy Yacht restoration company in Beaufort, NC. The yacht was hauled out, blocked and then went through a major drying process. The vessel sustained water damage throughout the lower deck including the engine room and the staterooms. New or rebuilt engines are needed. The hull needs major repairs as well as the restoration of the staterooms and heads and electrical wiring.

The vessel has been sheltered from the weather and is ready to be repaired. Moores Marine Yacht Center is more than capable to do the repairs.

Just prior to going aground the vessel went through a major renovation. The upper deck is in very good condition as you can see in the photos.
