Two requirements of the 42 Mk II according to Gerry Douglas, designer, “were that the shape have lots of volume but still be slippery.” With a 3-cabin, 2 head layout and European-influenced cockpit and rounded stern, SPIRIT is comfortable at sea or at rest. She offers good natural light and ventilation, storage space and thoughtful layout. The Seller has made several improvements such as secure wine storage, engine access for easy service, and additional shelving. The cockpit has a full enclosure making travel comfortable regardless of weather. Furling main and jib are recent purchases. YANMAR 56 hp engine and FARYMANN generator provide power to spare.
